Normally on Thanksgiving I write some kind of sarcastic or snide remark about this somewhat false holiday…yeah the Native Americans are real thankful about the white man’s arrival. BUT I’ve gotten older and now see the holiday for what it has become. A time to be thankful for our friends, family and generally anything and everything else in life. In a sense today is the day to see the glass as half full not half empty. Well, we should do that everyday. So today is more of a reminder…and a little gluttony every so often ain’t such a bad thing either. Note to self – After New Years another fast might be in order.
